Aug 26,2025

On August 25, 2025, Recon Technology Co., Ltd. successfully topped out the main building of its 40,000-ton/year waste plastic chemical recycling project. This marked a key breakthrough in the project's construction, and the project officially entered the equipment installation and commissioning phase. To date, Recon has invested over US$15 million. The project is expected to be fully completed in November 2025 and enter a one-month trial operation in December 2025, in accordance with domestic regulatory requirements.

Recon Waste Plastic Chemical Recycling Project occupies approximately 8.2 acres. Upon completion and commissioning, the project will primarily include six pyrolysis units, two distillation units, and associated environmental protection facilities. It is expected to produce 30,000 tons of plastic pyrolysis oil annually, generating an estimated annual revenue of US$30 million, achieving high-value conversion of waste plastic resources.
