Plastic Chemical Recycling
COMY, Chambroad Petrochemicals and Shiseido have launched China's first chemical recycling loop for waste plastics, targeting skin-contact safe cosmetic packaging. Shiseido sends its used packaging to COMY, which turns it into COMy Oil; Chambroad Petrochemicals then converts this to PCR PP materials, which Shiseido uses for contact-safe recyclable packaging-closing the loop from post-consumer plastic packaging to food-grade new plastics.
